Our story
The people behind Tin Star Shooting Range, LLC
It started in 1997, back when I was a police officer and a State Trooper in Kansas. Cops are gadget freaks.
If it is shiny, somebody in the locker room wants one, and pretty soon I was the guy selling guns and knives to half the shift. By 1999 I had moved the operation to the kitchen table, and in 2000 we went online, which at the time felt like a wild thing for a working cop to be doing.
We came back to Weatherford in 2005, and by then both Tobi and I were in the firearms business for good. What we noticed right away was that Western Oklahoma had nowhere for people to just go and shoot. Not a single public place. So we built one. Tin Star opened in July of 2007
